White Hat was later assigned to work as a liaison with the EDC.

Greenshirts counter Cobra Troopers the same way Steel Brigade are counterparts to Cobra's Vipers. While most Greenshirts are Army Rangers, there are representatives from every branch of the military, as well as personnel from the CIA, DEA, FBI, Homeland Security, and other American organizations with an interest in counter-terrorism and national security.

4-5 - "Extensive Liabilities" - The GI Joe forces attempt a risky infiltration of a possible Cobra asset, and are forced to pull their punches lest they may injure civilians.

May 02 - Dr Vandermeer Update[]

The figure of agent 'White Hat', the quirky blonde with dark glasses appears on screen, "Greetings GI Joe recruits and... well... I mean most of you use codenames so rank doesn't..." She waves her hand, "It doesn't matter. Okay, so your friendly data analyst here has been keeping an eye on Cobra traffic, and it looks like they had no noticeable spike in bandwidth changes, nor did they change their local hub away from Extensive Enterprises. In short, they had no idea you all were there so..." She gives a weak thumbs up, "all that stuff."

"Anyway, onto important mission stuff. So, this Dr. Vandermeer is going to be transported shortly, from Cobra territory upstairs." White Hat points up towards space, referring to the Solar Serpent. "They can do a lot up there, but telemetry and space transport are known quantities. As your EDC liaison, we've detected probable transport lines from there, BUT we don't have a fix on a location. Considering how secretive things have been for this man, any base he's set up at will take more intelligence gathering, but as your..." She does air quotes about the name, ""Mainframe" had said, recovering him in aerial transport is possible, so long as we have a team ready for intercept. Now, there's two assets worth recovering. the Doctor himself, his work is invaluable to Earth as a whole, but assuredly there's going to be a lot of equipment with him... specifically servers with pentabytes of wonderful, wonderful data to sift through. Cobra's for sure made copies of all that and might be able to extrapolate using the simulation programs undoubtedly built within. WE could do the same with that data and catch up."

"In short: If we recover the Doctor and the servers, we'll be able to quickly counter Cobra's play. If we recover just the Doctor, then it'd be like 'Hello, I'm the Doctor, Basically run.'" She manages a weak smile, then admits, "I mean it's right there, anyway that'd be good but not great. If something happens to the doctor...which, I mean this IS a gunfight at 16,000 feet or so, then recovering the servers will at least get us on the right footing. Everything else is indeterminate at the moment, but be prepared for high altitude combat and boarding, that includes rebreathers, HALO packs, and grapple lines. Something to avoid explosive decompression would be good unless you want to get sucked out of a craft through a straw. Aircraft simply cannot open fire on whatever transport Cobra is using but should be clear to engage with any escort craft. Ciao!"

May 13 - AAR: Operation: Five by Five[]

The operation was a modest success for the GI JOE forces. The infiltration aspect worked fully, allowing the Joes to board the transport at high altitude. Agents Ace, Temera, and General Hawk himself were assigned to or volunteered for the mission, with the latter two boarding the craft personally. After a sustained melee with enemy Cobra "Vipers", and Cobra agents "Barghest" and "Zarana", the Joe forces were able to remove the Doctor himself from the transport.

Assuredly, Debriefing will commence immediately...not that I get to assign those things...or say those things really.

Dec 14 - Intelligence Report: Pacific Ocean[]

Agent White Hat, one of the non-Joe support personnel data analysts appears on screen. She's got bright orange hair, and purple square glasses. "So, following those leads tying Extensive Enterprises to Cobra, we've just found out that Extensive Enterprises is holding a soiree for the end of year celebration of all the tax dodging and reinforced wealth of their clients. Now, I don't have access to Extensive Enterprises internal workings, hint hint, but I have seen some chatter on social media of some of these guests bragging about how much Extensive Enterprises makes them money. Which means that EE probably can make financial transactions on their behalf....and we also know that EE also supplies life insurance policies....see where I'm going here? They could easily magnify their holdings by a literal magnitude if these uppity clients of theirs die.... if they get away with it. I mean, full disclosure, we could do a lot of good by wealth redistribution but... I mean this could be just full-on murder. The economy for the planet is already in shambles with Fort Knox being stolen. We don't need the top who's who of elite scum..." She hesitates and reassess herself, to put forth some effort into neutrality, "Enterprising individuals to get merc'd by Cobra. Go do something about it. Yo Shrow, or whatever the phrase is."

2023[]

May 04 - Regarding the Turkiye assault[]

Joe attaché and analyst agent 'White Hat' appears on screen, still wearing her purple FBI hoodie and similar glasses. She looks a bit beleaguered as she clutches her clipboard. "Alright, we crunched a bunch of data and numbers from the Turkiye incident. Please be warned that some of the photos that will be displayed will be censored, but it still may cause triggers."

A photo shows the initial breech, "Standard door entry. C-4 breeching charge set up, two-man entry. G.I. Joe agent 'Battleaxe' just happened to be passing through and broke the initial breech before riot shields could be raised. Fire was exchanged. Battleaxe fell and was moved over. This is important, it signifies that the objective was not Joe agents. As the troops moved past her, she pulled herself up to the alarm, and activated it. While gunfire was exchanged from this PMC to staff and civilian agents, not unlike myself, the panic rooms used for their purpose. The PMC moved straight towards the server farm."

Agent White Hat appears on screen, "They knew exactly where to hit. If you haven't already figured it out on your own, there was plenty of inside information given. "From here the PMC stripped two servers and removed shelves of permanent memory called 'blades', and began to secure the area. This is where it gets bad.... As the team prepared to demo the server farm, they captured one lone rookie... and well. You all know what happened there. But the WHY of it is interesting."

Footage is almost entirely blurred out, except for one of the soldiers who has removed his helmet. The footage isn't great, but he looks DEEPLY scarred, like he was recently in a deadly fire. He speaks towards the blur that must've been Pvt Nakamea. "We think that after his... savage attack, he instructed her on how to hold the wound to lessen bleeding out. I believe he was intending on the Joes finding her when they did in order to help make good the escape. The bomb may've been set for this timing as well, as they could've detonated it at any point after their egress."

White Hat continues, "Weaponry was not fully uniform, which isn't unexpected in a PMC, Israeli made arms, United States arms, standard loadout with class 4 body armor, and heavy breeching shields. There's two dozen PMCs that could easily fit this bill. We're looking to isolate activities to help identify this one, already there's petitioning to Turkiye to release any footage they may have. I understood that some recon tracking had occurred afterwards, and together I'm confident we can track down the group responsible within the week, sooner if Turkiye allows us full access."
