Last week was a busy one across the Transformers Universe(s).
In the G.I. Joe World Universe, the Autobots and their Witwicky allies prepared for Prime's reawakening after four million years of slumber. Prowl showed unexpected concern for Spike's well-being, and Sparkplug brought in the G.I. Joe social services expert Spirit to help Spike with his ongoing emotional issues. After initial progress was positive, Spirit committed to stay around to help Spike heal the deep psychic scars from his mother's death.
Back in the main universe, Snaptrap hatched a new plan. After gathering and repairing the Seacons, he gave them new orders -- Tentakil, Nautilator, and Skalor are to unleash diversionary terrorist attacks across Cybertron, while Overbite and Seawing seek out the real goal -- the Key to Vector Sigma. Once his minions were gone, Snaptrap was approached by a mysterious figure taking over from Dal Matia, and the two of them formed a dark alliance threatening the future of Cybertron itself.
While Jetfire was investigating the source of the signals beneath Silent Grill on Cybertron, back on Earth Evac joked with Slipstream at the Pit before heading to the frozen north with Sgt. Sideswipe to rescue Canadians snowed in without supplies. Sideswipe finally received some much-sought-after praise. Later, Arcee gave Spike an early holiday present -- 'cats' she found digging through trash. Crosscut would have been proud of the diplomatic skills Spike used in response to the gift.
