The Los Angeles Police Department began a search last night for singer and keytar player Kimber Benton, best known for her work as part of the band Starr and the Holograms.

Benton disappeared last night outside of the offices of her studio at Starlight Music. Witnesses report seeing her climb into a van driven by the Holograms, including their original singer, Jem.
Police say, however, that van has been yet to be found, and Holograms manager Jerrica Benton insists none of the Holograms where present at the time of Kimber Benton’s disappearance.
Kimber Benton has been kidnapped before, in 2008 by the extremist group Cobra. She and the other Holograms were later returned without injury. Cobra has claimed no responsibility for Benton’s recent disappearance.
