In the violet throne room of Shattered Glass Iacon, the blue and silver face of newly-returned Emperor Prime glowers out of the monitor in his latest transmission. Hate burns in one of this crimson optics, while the other is obscured by the silver lens of an updated targeting computer. Behind him, slightly out of focus, hangs the headless black body of his former Air Commander Jetfire. Prime’s deep, Venger-like voice rumbles low and dangerously as he issues new orders.
“Reports of my death, obviously, were premature – as was the coronation of my would-be replacement. Jetfire has been killed, and a purge has been ordered of his administration. Most importantly, I want to the Old One found and brought to me, dead or alive – but preferably alive, as I have ‘questions’ for him. There soon will be a complete restructuring of the chain of command. Leader-1 will be named as my new Air Commander and executive officer – unless one of you choose to fight him for the privilege.
“The pathetic ceasefire with the Decepticons has ended,” Prime announces grimly. “We have no use for an alliance with them against my treacherous brother Ultra Magnus – we will defeat our enemies ourselves with our power alone. Any Decepticon found in our territories is to be either killed outright, or captured and turned over to Autobot Secret Police – use your discretion.” Prime chuckles darkly at the thought. “Prepare to resume conquest of Cybertron and Earth. Be ready at my command.”
Prime ends the transmission.
