UNDERFOOT's philosophies are simple. Peace is a noble ideal, but absolute freedom inevitably leads others toward chaos. Power should be used to direct and shape society, not to serve one's own self-interests. He believes in treating his troops as equals and would gladly put his life on the line for them, but his intolerance for disloyalty and disobedience is legendary. His critics often cite this personality trait as hypocrisy because he once was a Decepticon and rebelled against Megatron's megalomania. He has developed an extensive knowledge of guerrilla and assault tactics over the years and is known to lead a brutal primary assault with little need for a secondary strike. Underfoot transforms into a cybernetic ant and possesses the ability to lift objects many times his own mass and weight. His ant pincers can convert to a crossbow in robot mode, which fires explosive bolts of energy. Underfoot's most notable ability is manipulating sonic waves, which in some circumstances allows him to tunnel through solid objects. He can also release powerful shockwaves in the form of earthquakes, or his devastating Shatter Cannon.
