The members of the Cobra-La's Royal Guard are genetically augmented super-soldiers with one purpose - and that is protect and serve Golobulus. And they will do so to the death if they have to, but that's not a problem. They were specifically engineered for their very purpose and even one Royal Guard presents a formidable opponent. They wear near-impervious armor derived from their civilization's advanced bio-technology. Each Guard is superbly strong and can hold its own against even a seasoned martial artist. However, as they are completely subservient, they rely on brute strength and the instructions of their beloved leader to direct them in battle.
History[]
The Royal Guard are the result of Dr. Mindbender’s genetic experiments. Their powers are granted to them by snake-infused DNA, and their his bodies are enhanced with cutting-edge bio-technology. Intended as the first generation of Neo-Vipers, the Royal Guard instead fled Cobra, setting up a secret retreat in the Himalayas for other escaped Cobra experiments. Although considered grotesque and inhuman by most standards, they are fiercely protective of their mutated charges, and are willing to die in battle to ensure the new secret race of Cobra-La may prosper. After what was done to them, they utterly despise Homo sapiens with every fiber of their being – especially their “creator,” Dr. Mindbender.

The Cobra-La royal guards are shown to use a large golden scimitar, which is highly curved on one edge, and serrated on another. They also use advanced-tech pistols stolen from Cobra.
