A daredevil even from the youngest age, Quarrel was performing elaborate and dangerous feats since the time she could realize what it was, much to the chagrin of her parents. She loved skateboards only until she was old enough to drive, and from there it went to anything with wheels and an engine. Soon, just going fast wasn't enough to feed her need for the adrenaline rush of danger, or just risking herself - she felt she needed a purpose, something greater than herself, which caused her to eventually enlist. Too crazy to be a normal grunt, but too skilled to fit into most normal commands, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that she ended up in the Joes. Quarrel's willingness to take and complete the most dangerous and difficult missions the military could offer have made her a valued member.
