Petro is an Autobot Special Ops tape build on a faraway world in an alternate future. As such, he's a little odd, even for a mechanical petro-rabbit. Having no voice of his own, Petro communicates and reports by recording things he hears and intercepts, playing them back for his friends and superiors. In petro-bunny mode, he has enhanced energy-detecting systems, as well as unusually keen hearing. He supplants his energon-processing systems with the addition of a small fusion plant capable of recycling metallic wastes and H20, breaking them into their base components for use as power and self-regeneration materials. Petro is also capable of temporarily overloading this plant and venting it through a port on his chest, generating a small but powerful energy burst, surprising many would-be predators. In micro-cassette tape mode, his tiny form makes him almost impossible to detect. Although skilled at energy detection and data collection, Petro's limited communications skills sometimes make his reports rather hard to understand.
