The Headman recruits his personal bodyguards from the greediest, most ruthless drug dealers and criminals in the world. He offers them a big-money stake in his global operation and a chance to live out their meanest fantasies in return for absolute loyalty and obedience. HEADHUNTERS are driven workaholics with evil ambitions. They are willing to undergo constant and rigorous training in advanced weapon systems and fighting styles to further their career in the Headman’s organization.

Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:[]
The Headhunters are drug dealers and enforcers working for the drug lord Headman.
Headman started a major drug operation in Broca Beach, New Jersey -- a town controlled by Cobra. The G.I. Joe team's Drug Elimination Force fought Headman and his Headhunters, attempting to drive them out of Broca Beach without ever learning that Cobra was in charge. In the end, Cobra Commander himself saw to the end of the operation by destroying Headman's boat carrying a big drug shipment. Headman and his Headhunters were then arrested by the DEF.
MUX History:[]
The Headman eventually escaped, working alone as an international criminal before eventually beginning to gather a new legion of Headhunters. Headman tried to start his operations back up in South America, and got caught. He was incarcerated by the US government, courtesy of G.I. Joe, but escaped with the help of Nightfall. The Headhunters are now occasionally lent out to Nightfall to assist in her global schemes.
