The Ghost HAWK VTOL [Vertical Take-Off and Landing Aircraft] was first utilized by G.I. Joe in 2009, replacing the Sky Hawk. In 2010, G.I. Joe ordered an Air Force variant Ghost Hawk modified for jungle warfare, piloted by Lt Tomahawk. In 2012, the name was reused for the Ghost Hawk II, a completely different vehicle. In 2014, a version of Ghost Hawk was produced for arctic environments and deployed to Frusenland.
