A leader is always in the position of making the tough calls and hard decisions. DUKE, as the highest-ranking NCO, and third overall in charge, of the G.I. JOE team, understands the burden of leadership all too well. When it’s the duty of the team to respond to a threat against the world, DUKE must be the one to make sure that the priorities are clear: the mission comes first and everything else comes a distant second. He demands a lot from his team, but doesn't ask anything of them that he isn't willing to give himself. His hard-won experience and unflinching determination have earned him the respect and loyalty of his team.

Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:[]

Conrad Hauser was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He was already fluent in English, French and German when he enlisted in the army. Once there, he enrolled in various schools including the U.S. Army Special Language School and airborne school at Fort Benning. With his extensive background in Chinese and Southeast Asian dialects, Duke joined Special Forces and worked with native South Vietnamese tribesmen. Afterwards, Duke returned stateside where he became an instructor in four different Special Forces schools.

When Duke was running a training exercise while an instructor at the Army's Ranger School along with Marvin "Roadblock" Hinton, a soldier named Eric Freistadt was expected to be a wash out due to losing his temper after psychological tests. Officers suggested Duke be extra tough on Freistadt in the "evade and escape" test, which showed soldiers the bad treatment they could receive if captured. Tied up in a darkened room, he refused to give in, though he all ready knew he had washed-out of the program. After seven days of the soldier simply giving his name and serial number, Duke filed a report and Lt. Colonel Clayton "Hawk" Abernathy was called in. He was so impressed with Freistadt, he signed him on to the newly-forming G.I. Joe team under the codename "Short-Fuze." Duke and Roadblock would join him on the team years later.

Before joining the G.I. Joe team, Duke had several other assignments. It was at this time that Duke became acquainted with Flint, whom he would later recommend for the G.I. Joe team. Duke joined the Joes in 1984, making his first appearance at the funeral of the Joes' commander, General Flagg. Cobra Commander sent a Cobra Rattler jet to buzz the proceedings to test out its capabilities. As the jet approached, Duke and Roadblock appeared and shot the Rattler out of their sky with their firearms.

When he first joined the team, Duke told the team, "Things are going to be different from now on... I'm gonna make the sorry lot of you into soldiers!" He gained a reputation for being tough on the Joes, but they soon respected him and the team was better for his joining. When Hawk took over General Flagg's old post as commander of the Joe team, Duke became the Joes' field commander.

Duke's first official assignment on the team was surveillance of the Bern Institute of Reconstructive Surgery in Switzerland. Major Bludd was tracked to Bern when he brought the Baroness there for plastic surgery following a major battle. Eventually, several members of Cobra arrived and a wild car chase followed, resulting in the capture of Cobra Commander.

The Joes knew how important it was to hold on to their prisoner and took the commander to a plateau in the Rocky Mountains, where a pre-fab fortress was set up to defend the location if Cobra decided to retrieve the commander. Unfortunately, Storm Shadow made a surprise rescue in a Cobra CLAW glider.

Unable to carry both men adequately, Storm Shadow let Cobra Commander leave him behind. Duke pursued in a small Sky-Hawk aircraft, but a firefight with two Cobra FANG helicopters occupied him long enough to let the prisoner get away. Back on the ground, Roadblock and Gung-Ho got the jump on Storm Shadow.

Now the Joes had a new prisoner to replace the commander. Knowing their site had been compromised, Duke, Roadblock and Steeler took Storm Shadow to a cell in Alcatraz. They underestimated Storm Shadow and Duke was shocked to find Storm Shadow had somehow escaped.

Even as the ninja escaped, another group of Joes found Zartan's swamp shack hideout in the Florida Everglades. Duke traveled down to Florida where he and Roadblock met up with Cutter and Deep Six, taking the Whale hovercraft and attacking the hideout. During the attack Destro arrived in a Cobra Rattler.

Duke and the others were injured during the attack, but they all survived. Destro had escaped only to return with Firefly and steal the Whale. Returning to the G.I. Joe freighter, the Jane, Duke and Wild Bill took the Dragonfly 'copter to go after Destro. Duke wasn't about to let Cobra get their hands on a Joe vehicle. The Dragonfly was disabled by Destro's wrist-rockets, but they succeeded in recovering the Whale.

Months later, the Joes discovered a residential house in New Jersey was actually home to an undercover Crimson Guardsman. The Joes, lead by Duke, stormed the house but the Cobras weren't taken by surprise. Tomax and Xamot were there to rescue the Guardsman. Shooting Duke and Lady Jaye as the approached the front door, the Cobras destroyed the Joes' vehicle and escaped. If Duke and Lady Jaye had not worn bulletproof vests, they may have both died from their injuries.

The Cobras had escaped, but they left behind clues to a secret Cobra operation in the Gulf of Mexico. Though the particulars were vague, Hawk sent Duke and a large team of Joes to the Gulf with a new G.I. Joe Battle Platform to investigate the area and defend it should Cobra attack.

After a major battle with Cobra hydrofoils, the Joes discovered an underwater Cobra bunker that was using sound-waves to kill off the sea life in the Gulf. Due to the importance of the fishing industry, the Pentagon ordered the bunker destroyed. What the Joes didn't know was that the bunker was sitting on an undersea fault-line. Cobra had tricked the Joes into aggravating the fault-line, which thrust a massive portion of the ocean floor, creating Cobra Island.

Though many of the Joes were injured and weary from the previous battle, Duke had no choice but to force Cobra's army off the island before Cobra could claim the island as their own. Duke personally led the assault, but as the tide of battle turned in favor of the Joes, the word came down from the Pentagon: Cobra's lawyers and diplomats in Washington, D.C. had gained official recognition for Cobra Island as a sovereign state. The Joes were forced to turn around and go home. Other major operations followed and Duke continued to lead the team into battle.

When Hawk was promoted to General, he exercised his option to return to the field. Duke remained the team's first sergeant, still commanding his own missions from time to time. When the Joes invaded the Cobra-controlled town of Springfield, Duke commanded the security team, assisting in keeping the operation and the town secure. When the Joes entered the Cobra Island civil war on the side of Serpentor, Duke was Hawk's second-in-command, even taking charge when Hawk was temporarily captured and stayed in command until he rescued his commander. After that mission, Duke spent some time training new members of the Joe team and running tests on new vehicles and equipment.

Duke's most difficult mission started as a routine raid on Cobra Terrordromes in the desert nation of Trucial Abysmia. The mission soon turned disastrous when the team, led by Lt. Falcon and Duke, discovered that Cobra was involved more in the Middle East then was first believed.

Trying to retreat into friendly territory, the group was overrun by Cobra soldiers led by Tomax and Xamot. Surrounded on all sides, Duke knew it was suicidal to fight on and surrendered to save his troops. Duke reacted angrily to the treatment the team was given by the Cobras and was badly beaten by the twin brothers. When Tomax and Xamot reported to Cobra Commander, they misunderstood his orders and sent a SAW-Viper to kill the prisoners. Four Joes were shot in cold blood before the rest of the group could escape in a captured Cobra tank. The escaping Joes were followed and the tank exploded, killing the all of the Joes except for Duke, Falcon and Cross-Country. When a Joe rescue team arrived, Duke went after the SAW-Viper, but he couldn't bring himself to shoot the now-unarmed man. The discoveries made by Duke's team led to the Joes biggest operation, fighting against Cobra and the nearby nation of Benzheen. It was some time before Duke recovered from that tragic mission.

Duke returned to duty to help the original G.I. Joe defend the government's top secret laser installation against Cobra's attempt to steal the technology hidden there. Shortly afterward, Duke was at the Pit (Joe HQ) in Utah when Cobra Commander tried to invade his enemies' base. Duke successfully defended the Pit and subsequently led a mission into Cobra Island, which was discovered to have been abandoned by Cobra. Later on, Duke led the newly-formed Star Brigade in a joint mission with the former Soviet unit, the October Guard. Soon after that mission, the Joe team was disbanded and Duke helped "retire the colors" at the ceremony that closed down the Pit and the team.

Duke was then assigned short term to the C.I.A., where he continued to lead Operations against the remnants of Cobra along with a few other members of the G.I. Joe team; however, all those missions are HIGHLY Classified. When the Team was reinstated in 1997, it was his work that helped lead to the team's Reinstatement, and he was one of the first reassigned to the team, with a promotion to Command Sergeant Major.

In 2004, Duke served on the Anti-Venom Task Force with Barricade, Charbroil, Mutt, Roadblock, and Sgt. Lifeline.

In 2012 Duke spent several months infiltrating Major Bludd's African contingent, hoping for a chance to apprehend and arrest the wanted mercenary. However, when he finally made his move, Bludd escaped, and Duke was badly beaten by Vipers before managing to extricate himself and flee the scene.

Duke hid out in Cote D'Ivoire, avoiding Cobra patrols while awaiting extraction. He was eventually rescued by Ace and Steel-Brigadier 910, and brought back to Camp Lemonnier to recover.

In 2015, Duke returned to the Pit to take command of Strike Team Alpha. In April of that year, he lead Alpha to Sierra Gordo in a mission to rescue Grunt.

In 2016, Duke gave command of Strike Team Alpha to Stalker.

On the MUX Duke has been promoted to CSM. He is also played much more like the Comic Book Duke than the Duke of the Cartoon. While there is the running Joke about Comas, Duke is Hard-Nosed, and only RARELY actually in a Coma. Also, there is NO relationship between him and Scarlett, other than deep mutual respect and strong friendship.

Mar 04 - RE: ALL THE THINGS[]

That's a lot to take in all at once after dealing with this Nebulos issue and tracking down what looks like a series of toxic waste disposal and storage centers being robbed recently. I'll give some details later and get the training protocols up because we're not going to sit around and collect dust. No one shelves G.I. Joe.

Also, speaking of the Brainwave Scanner, please verify that Wraith was in her right frame of mind when she agreed to marrying Sci-Fi and such. That being said, congratulations. Major O'Leary-Fine, you are now in charge of translating whatever comes out of his mouth.

All jokes aside, it's good to be back on Earth.

It appears we have an overlap with certain projects being handled. Concealer and Snapdragon are both working on stealth suits that use holograms to impersonate people, places, and things. I am not certain of the details nor do I need to be fully involved with them. To prevent redundancy, can our head of Intelligence and our head of R&D get a list of projects that are prioritized and see what overlaps we can merge together?

I think if we can work together, we can potentially make the improvements needed. Also, the NebTech did give one of the new powered Greenshirts holographic holograms if I recall.

Let's get some meetings up and running. You guys are getting quite messy with the paperwork. If Battleaxe was to run an audit... how many of you would be in trouble?

March 11 - Report - Weekly Wind Down   -   Fri Mar 11 - Duke[]

Yo Joe! This is just a weekly update of what's happened to keep everyone in the loop for what we are doing and what is happening.

MAR 07  Reports of Cobra activities in Russia were made. It appears that Cobra has delivered something in cargo containers to the Russian military. We are not yet sure of who or what was involved and how it will be involved. Please keep an eye out for what we can get on this information.

MAR 08  Training events were run by myself. The first part was a Lockdown testing our ability for how fast we can respond and secure to a threat such as an active shooter inside the Pit. We had reasonable success with this. This was inspired by the Pit breach that happened about less than a month ago. Please review proper lockdown procedures and understand that once we go into 'Lockdown,' that means you hide and barricade yourself, remain on radio silence, and wait for the next stage of instructions.

Additionally, we did have a small set of questions for you to answer to get to the food that was provided as well as for the actual training exercise. You, as Joes, need to have a better understanding of who the persons to your right and left are. Why? They might have a talent or skill or ability that you are unaware of that can be useful when you least expect it. For example, did your know that Wyvern can do something with fire? I'll leave it as that. You'll all be tasked to tell me soon something you learned about your teammates. Don't worry, we all will be tasked with this as well. Myself, Hawk, and even Flint. I'm assigning Flint to attend one of Concealer's 'DnD Tea Parties' to show that we all are not above this. I'll spend an evening helping Sinatra with giving the Rat Pack a bath or something.

MAR 09  Amazing effort from General Hawk, Snapdragon, Sinatra, Scarlet, Concealer, the Rat Pack, and company. You have taken down Broca Beach. Intel had given us that no one other than Cobra was on site and we were authorized to use extreme lethal force to remove those snakes from that location. I understand that the Rat Pack deserve a Purple Heart. Sinatra, see Battleaxe for getting them a block of the finest cheese possible for a treat. We also were not able to take any prisoners even though Copperhead and Mindbender were on scene. It appears that Major Bludd was in his modified HISS tank giving some issues. General Hawk made use of the orbital weapons system to deliver a crucial blow to the HISS as well as a few strongholds. It turns out that Cobra had also rigged the area to explode and that made things more difficult. I am proud of all of you for this. Though, I do need to understand the mushroom clouds of glitter. Or perhaps, I do not need to.

MAR 10  This update is so far the one I am concerned with. Greenshirts with Ozone and a few other members have visited the site of what was once Broca Beach after Cobra leveled that beach front. A squad of Greenshirts went missing when they were entering the labs. Ozone and his squad went to locate the missing party. We recovered them and they were injured and slashed up. It does not match any of the previous weapons or slashes left by Cobra and their weapons. Reports of a humanoid 'Cloverfield' creature are all we can get as a description. Apparently, our conventional weapons are making only dents in whatever this threat is. We will need to get more details on this.

MAR 11  I want all of us to report in and check in with Flint, myself, or Hawk. I'd like to know what your current projects are, what your intentions are, and your strengths and weaknesses are so we can improve on BOTH of them.

Additionally, Sci-Fi, Mainframe, and Hawk have cleared Spike Witwicky from being a Cobra agent. Spike is within our custody still because he is getting help from Doc about a medical situation.

Keep up the great work, all of you. You are not just an agent of G.I. Joe... you are an agent of change.

Mar 15 - Broca Beach and Pit Update[]

       Tuesday, March 15:              We have two teams established with Broca Beach. Recovery and clean up. @Ozone has taken over as point on this. There is a lab room that seems to be of interest as it indicates that D'Alleva has been active there. Even more concerning, there seems to be Dire Wraith specimens.

       Tonight, @Concealer and a small team are going to attempt to breach and secure whatever Cesspool's Broca Lab elements are there still. 

       We are also needing to get information on what is going on with the Baroness. @Agent Snapdragon and @Agent Helix - you two are up for handling this. Please locate Baroness at the NASA locations she might be involved with. @Scarlett can fill you in on these details. @Red Spot, be on standby to provide coverfire and help extract Snapdragon and Helix.

       @Snake-Eyes, start training @Jinx, @Kamakura, and @Wyvern for your #Ninja_Force.

       @Mainframe and @Hacker, please see @Hawk for updates on getting our network up and running.

       @Wraith and @Wisp, please see @Flint about getting air security ready for whatever Cobra has planned with NASA.

       @Sci-Fi, get @Sinatra and @Temera set for additional support with #NASA. Use the @New_School team to provide additional ground security.

       Hopefully, I figured out how to do this new messaging upgrade if not, @Battleaxe will surely correct me. It's going to be a tight week, but I think we can handle all of this. Aug 25 - Operation: Swamp Changer[]

Alright, this might sound like a tough order but I am looking into this idea of capturing one or two HISS tanks. They don't need to be complete but if we can salvage the parts to make one complete, I would appreciate it. We will need one team to infiltrate a Cobra compound where we can take one or two. A strike team will be used to capture that location where we will stage potentially destroying the tanks while we remove the ones we secured for ourselves. Our R & D will be given a special assignment once we've managed to get the HISS operational and we can study it for some time. I will explain this on a need to know basis.

Also, make sure Sci-Fi, Poise, and Grand Slam are working with Vandermeer on resolving this MASS construction issue. I believe I have a plan in action that will help.

Poise, can we get some NebTech support for helping create something that will disrupt Cobra's MASS?

I am going to be around and active so if you see me, expect that you will be given an assignment to help with this operation.

@Tollbooth - What is the status of the decoy?
@Scarlett and @Lady Jaye - Team Jem will be at your command until I am able to be directly involved.
@Mainframe and @Crypto - Can we create a copy of the Coltonbolt's system that can send misleading datapackets back to our hacker? We would need some authentic data to keep their interest.
@Flagg - Do you feel up to being head of our newest addition to our military? Eidolon Space Force sounds like a good decoy name for our decoy unit. Perhaps we could set up something with Tollbooth's decoy satellite and Mainframe's hackable system.
Maybe even get the EDC involved slightly without their knowledge to give authentic information to Cobra about our Eidolon Space Force so they are too busy.
@Hawk - What are your thoughts?


If it's ok, I would like to keep a team working at Broca Beach with the cleanup. I believe Concealer is on to a good lead with her encounter with Cesspool and his Bio Organic Weapons. If we can pull some others like Shipwreck to help guard the coastline, I would like to find out how deep the Broca Beach location was. I believe we might have success in getting some HISS tanks, parts, and specs as well as some data that could be useable for a better understanding of what Cobra has been up to.


Can we also see about what we can do with getting our small fleet of Starfighters upgraded and perhaps modified? I am thinking that Sci-Fi should revisit Nebulos and see if our contacts there have any suggestions to improve on his Starfighter. Let's also have New School revisit to make sure that our contacts there can verify that all systems are as go. I am sure Red Spot and the others stationed at Nebulos would not mind the company perhaps a return to Earth.

       I have sent Sci-Fi and Red Spot off to Nebulos to see about upgrading the Starfighter designs, engines, and whatever else that they can attempt to figure out so we can try to match Cobra's Stilettos. Ozone is being assigned as well to help with... whatever life support tricks he has. 

       Lady Jaye, Snakes, and Scarlet: Please continue looking into dealing with Ebony and whatever is going on with Major Bludd. I don't think this fight was a coincidence. I'd like to see if we can get more details on what is going down and perhaps see if Bludd's interested in talking with us.

       Concealer: I am not sure what to expect or find out with what is going on with Cesspool but keep on eye on Broca Beach and whatever else you are doing to keep him from his masterplan. I am not sure if he is working as Cobra or on his own with these interactions but either way, he needs to be stopped. 

       Flint: Be prepared to be spending some time with the Autobots, the EDC, and potentially Cobra. I think for the time while you get back to being yourself, some quality time with the EDC to see what is going on with the Autobots and Cobra on their end could prove beneficial for you and us at the same time. I know you're adjusting and going through a lot. I believe in you.

       Wraith and Wisp: Keep the airspace around us under surveillance and potentially do some drills. I am going to assume that with these snakes in space that we might have more issues coming our way soon. 

       Doc, Spirit, Psycheout, Lifeline: Let's get some evaluations on our Joes! We need to all be healthy - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and all that. If you need to send some of our ranks out for some retreats and sessions, I'm on board.

Feb 12 - Delayed Order[]

With Concealer's efforts, we have secured a modified HISS tank. Unfortunately, we do not know the current condition of Concealer or this HISS tank. The vehicle is currently secured at a military base in New Jersey and will be covertly moved so our R&D can get a better idea of a few things. That means that Sci-Fi and Red Spot will on Earth for a few more weeks while we figure out this situation. Additionally, I will be seeing if we can locate our lost Joe as she has not checked in and her last message was a distress call.

I also want to thank Scarlet and Lady Jaye for meeting with Major Bludd.

Feb 13 - re: Concealer[]

We were able to have the security camera feed recovered from a warehouse that turns out it was owned by Vincent A. D'Alleva... Seems Cesspool storing chemical and other hazardous weapons. I also want to know why we're not using back up and calling in for support earlier. Please review the video. We are still trying to also find Concealer's whereabouts and condition. Eco-Warriors, looks like your dance card is about to get full with figuring out what we're up against.

Visual Feed: Inside what looks like an abandoned warehouse, three Cobra Septic HISS Tanks are parked inside. Sludge and Toxo Vipers are loading chemical barrels into two black cargo trucks. An 18-wheeler truck and trailer seems to be loaded with cages containing a few genetically modified bioforms. A few smoke grenades go off, clouding the area. Loud music can be heard.        As the smoke clears, Concealer can be seen tossing a Sludge Viper off a Septic tank and trying to get access into it. A few Heavy Water Troopers take aim at her with their guns, and she dodges the bullets while taking cover behind another HISS tank.

       Cesspool snarls, "Kill her! Release the Bio-Vipers!" Some of the Toxo-Vipers open the cages from inside the truck the monstrosities. They begin to give chase to Concealer. She tosses some explosives in different directions that cause some of the chemical tanks and vehicles to combust. She tries to make her way back the warehouse door but one of the Bio-Vipers grabs her with all four of his arms and begins to slam her around. Cesspool walks over, with his modified chainsaw in hand and begins to try to slice into her helmet. The blade digs into her faceplate. "You'll going to regret coming here. I don't have time to deal with this!" Concealer struggles and reaches her wrist mounted terminal on her left forearm. A series of explosions goes off. With this distraction, the Bio-Viper slams Concealer down onto the pavement. Cesspool looks around and screams, "That's going to cost your life and then some!" He proceeds to swing the chainsaw forward at Concealer's torso. 

       The downed Joe reaches for Cesspool's ankles and trips him having him go into the Bio-Viper. The chainsaw stuck into the chest of the wounded Bio-Viper. Cesspool picks himself up as Cesspool's forces scramble to put out the flames and load what can be salvaged. A few do take this moment to shoot at Concealer, bullets and sludge hitting into her armor. 

       Cesspool stands over Concealer and picks her up by her armor's collar. "And last words, you pathetic piece of sludge? You've cost me millions and I will make sure you pay me back with your blood." He then rams a dagger into her chestplate, piercing into her. Fortunately, Concealer has one last trick up her sleeve. There's a laugh from her helmet. "...you talk far too much, for someone so unkind! Protocol Pinky Pie..." This time, more explosions go but there's glitter and fireworks mixed in." Some shrapnel flies around and Cesspool's grip weakens. Concealer manages to get away and one of the HISS tanks can be seen breaking through the warehouse door. 

       The toxic offender can be seen running to another HISS tank, "I want her alive. This one needs to be killed by me personally!"

With the help of Ozone, a ground crew was able to sanitize the HISS that Concealer was able to get under my instructions. While Cesspool is convinced that Concealer is off his trails, I'm going to suggest that we make use of this time. I am sending Battleaxe, Concealer, and Wyvern to hopefully get the HISS tank over to the Pit for further investigations. Battleaxe, I know you've been itching to go drive a tank so this your belated Valentine's Day gift from Hawk. Concealer, you've been on point with handling Cesspool, so I know you'd want to see this one through. Wyvern, you need some field time and an excuse to be off base for once.

Wisp and Wraith, if either of you can make sure the airways are open should Cobra decide to take back their toy, that'd be appreciated.

I have attained information that a Russian facility most likely has Wisp. They described a person of her stature that has been abducted and mutated into a feline specimen. I am uncertain of her current status as well as the reason for her transformation. Due to the nature of this mission, I am going alone to meet with my informants.        I'll make sure we have a plan and some information available should it go south. Besides, if something did happen to me, that'll mean that Flint would get my parking spot and I'm not about to let that happen.

I'm not sure how to handle the feline mutation part though. If this is true, I am not sure if Wisp is still herself or if I am going to be dealing with something else. I better see if we need to get Acepromazine Maleate which is used to tranquilize cats according to what I'm finding. I am hoping we can help reverse whatever happened.

Believe it or not, Interrogator's reported information actually paid off. There was a Siberian research facility that was also used in trafficking and selling of genetically modified organisms. Unfortunately, we arrived too late for Wisp. She is now genetically modified to be 'feline' and we arrived with enough time to prevent her from being sold or transferred to someone.

There was another woman as well. I am not sure of her origins and identity. I believe that they had modified her but from what Wisp stated that she believes that this individual was from an alternate reality and a member of the EDC. I believe we previously have encountered someone with a similar story. A Nathaniel Briar. Alternate reality relative to Concealer. I am uncertain of how much of this was Wisp's information from real conversation or from the medications and chemicals that were forced into her. Sadly, I let Interrogator and Major Bludd leave with this individual as I was unaware of her status.

In regards to Wisp, I am asking that we get medical and anyone with a biological brain to get involved with evaluating her. First goal is to stabilize her and understand what we are working with. Secondly, I imagine that Wisp would like to return to being human again. Unfortunately, this is an area of where I have limited, limited knowledge and I do not know where and how I can even offer help. Spirit and Psyche-Out, if you can also meet with her, please do so.

Interrogator and Major Bludd both earned my trust and respect from the events. While there was tension and awkwardness in our alliance with each other, we never had a moment where we aimed weapons or malice at each other. I am requesting that Major Bludd get paid for his services as he seems to be 'retired' from his contract work with Cobra. Despite his normal motivation seemingly to be for profit, he seemed actually motivated to help and assist. I am aware that there are war crimes committd by him in the past but he seems to be working on redeeming himself. Perhaps instead of forcing him to be the enemy, we help to make him into an ally. His courage, professionalism, and respect is admirable.

Interrogator was willing to stay behind to allow us to escape. We fortunately were all able to. Interrogator did leave with a hard drive. I am trusting that he will, as he has been, keeping his word. This data could potentially help give us an idea of what has happened to Wisp and others like her. Additionally, we may be able to help reverse others. Also, I would like to track down those parties involved with this and make them pay. Kreiger is on that list. If I am permitted, I would like to work with Interrogator while we both have a common threat and enemy.

In regards, I believe Ascension Wing is currently more of an ally as we both have common threats. I am not sure if Interrogator has a bigger plan at play, but his information and assistance has been appreciated. If we can establish an alliance or truce, this could prove to be beneficial. I am going to try to get Interrogator to reveal his hand while revealing mine. I think Cobra is growing tired and weary. Cobra Commander has been quiet lately. I know it's often a sign of something bigger to come but I've never seen anything like Ascension Wing before. They seem willing to cross faction lines to get the results and have had every reason to betray me.

I would like to see if we can have a meeting with Ascension Wing and Major Bludd to discuss an alliance. If what we saw in Siberia is just the tip of this iceberg, we need to move quickly.

The only issue I can say is that I believe Interrogator, Bludd, and myself were all too timid with the shaky alliance to have one of us take full lead. It also was different to not be leading the operation. I believe Bludd and Interrogator were trying to not overstep me as I was doing the same. If I work with them again to take down these facilities, I'm going to suggest that Major Bludd takes point as he seems to be the most professional. Interrogator does offer a lot with his Ascension Wing technology and his connections. I am hoping that these recent events are genuine, and we can discuss more coops like this that can potentially help end the war with Cobra and us. Neither side needs to lose if we can find a way for both of us to win together.

Mar 13 - Sebastian Bludd Update[]

Sebastian Bludd is doing quite well and adjusting to civilian life in a manner that is promising. He is troubled by his past and seemingly haunted enough by it that he is trying to redeem himself as evidenced by his assistance in helping Wisp's rescue.

I am not sure how well we can push this topic but he saved a life of a Joe and I think we can help save his life by helping him be a better civilian right now. He is currently of no threat and making remarkable efforts to 'retire and resign' from his old ways. I am hoping that we can exonerate his past and maybe look at a more promising future. He seems to be willing to comply with our requests to check in and even work with us. Perhaps he has finally outgrew his Cobra skin and has shed it completely.

If we can arrange, I am wondering if Lifeline and Spirit can talk with Sebastian to see how he is and help make sure he is doing well health wise and mentally. I also am trying to refer to him as Sebastian to help humanize and personalize our communication as he is no longer acting as the 'Major Bludd' we used to see on the battlefield. Instead, he's actually very charming. And no, Scarlett, I am not dating him.

Both Battleaxe and Lifeline make valid points. First thing I am approving is that Wraith is no longer allowed access to the Star Fighter program which I understand should not be an issue as the newest models of Star Fighters are being tested as we speak. If plans go accordingly, that's another topic for later.

In regards to Wraith being active or not active, I believe that Hawk will have final say. I also believe we can let Wraith determine her level if Hawk permits her to voice her concerns or approval for flight status.

In regards to her missions and status if she is flying, I think Wraith should be put on light duty and on reserve once Wisp is ready to take command of our air fleet. I feel that Wraith can train our younger pilots and also do routine flights with our trainees but should not be expelling too much into the dangerous missions unless we have no other options.

Hawk, this is a 'your call' scenario. I'd believe we all would appreciate your input.

Bludd has asked me to look into the Silica Mossad Groups that we have on file. He claims he has knowledge from Interrogator that we have worked with Silica Mossad Groups in the past. If we have any details of this, we need to straighten it out if we are going to do a co-op with Interrogator and Bludd. If haven’t, we need to figure out what and why this angle is popping up right before we get back into Russia.

I’m hoping we can figure this out soon because if we can’t, then our coop effort in Russia might be a failure in the works.

Concealer work Interrogator and Major Bludd. See if you can show Limelight the ropes. Scarlett, make sure that Limelight is ready for the field. As she’s an unknown, she needs to not have her cover blown.

I am not sure if General Hawk has had a chance to talk to our Ninja Force guest but I know he was interested in getting her signed up. I have met Selena a few times and I believe she would make for a great asset. If someone can show her a copy of the attached form, it's for a contract as an independent agent who would be one of our operatives. I can't bring her on full time as I am not sure if I am authorized to do so. Since she is a friend of Concealer and Kamakura as well as Lifeline, I am nominating any of those three to talk to her about this. I was able to get approval for a 30-day trial contact with renewing options. Base pay of $1776 a week.

Apr 27 - "Administrative Professionals Day"[]

I will not get into the specifics of last night as I was not part of the events that happened, but I will be addressing a lot of what is going on in the wake of these events. Ms. Bianca "Battleaxe" Martinez is a personal friend of mine. I enjoy our banther and teasing over paperwork. Over the years, she became not just my professional colleague but a great friend and asset to the community. Honestly, working with her never felt like work. She treated everyone as a human being and never made you feel like you were a burden.

I will deeply miss having these interactions with her. A secret that I kept from her that I believe she long ago figured out... I was given a Keurig as a Christmas gift by Falcon years ago and I kept it hidden in my desk just so Bianca never felt replaced. I grew suspicious when I noticed the quality of my coffee pods changing to a better grade of coffee, but Bianca and I never confronted each other about these events. We continued our coffee exchanges as normal. Even if printed instructions on how to make the Keurig coffee taste better were highlighted and left on my desk with her handwritten comments of what I did wrong.

Bianca was more than just a 'secretary.' Her codename of Battleaxe was not a nickname based on the fact that was a tool to cut through redtape. She was effective with various weapons including the melee weapon as well various levels of vehicles.

Ahndi Nakamea will also be mourned. Our time together was limited. The Nakamea family suffered a previous loss with Nalide. Both sisters were heroes.

These members of the Joes joining the ever-growing member of our ranks that have fallen in the line of work that we do. They will not be forgotten. They will be avenged. We will also have our personnel available for any persons who needs emotional support. I would like to remind our ranks that it okay to not be okay right now. We will mourn our loses, celebrate their lives and achievements, and carry on their missions to honor them.

May 11 - May: Week 2 Duties[]

We are going to need to continue our search for Snake-Eyes as we are going on a 7+ without him reporting in or responding to any of what has been asked for him to explain the actions on May 1, 2023. As he has continued to elude and fail to report in, we are forced to label him as wanted. Additionally, we are requesting that Scarlett be assigned to be off this duty as well as those involving the search for Kamakura additionally.

Since Snake-Eyes and Scarlett both have had relationships with each other, we do not believe that having her involved would be beneficial to herself and the search. Snake-Eyes is considered to be armed and dangerous at this point in time. If you see him, do not engage. Call it in. Additionally, some of our Ninja Force members have been called in to be readily available to assist in this situation.

If I may be as bold to offer, I would recommend that the Sergeant Major continue her valuable research with finding the guilty parties involved with the deaths of Private Nakamea and Battleaxe. We are going 2 weeks out with no solid leads. Based on her amazing track record, I believe that her experience and take-no-gruff attitude should net the yield we need to bring those down. Please assemble a team to handle this investigation. Once the Russian Operation has been resolved, I plan on supporting this as well.

Additionally, the Russian Operation will need to be addressed as soon as possible. I believe Wisp, myself, and Greathawk can handle this quick strike. I need another small team to find out what Cobra apparently took from the Russian train.

Lifeline, Psycheout, and Spirit are needing to be available to offer their skills and support for our team as these are trying times. The New School members are also going to be required to be readily available as our troops will be spread thin during this period.

May 13 - Re: Kamakura[]

I am in full agreement with Lifeline's decisions of Kamakura's situation. I am stationing additional security to the Infirmary and additional security details to our base. No one will have access to Kamakura save for the proper medical staff and Greathawk. Any attempts to access him will result in a visit from Hawk or myself and the MPs. I am putting Law in charge of the security detail. I understand Kamakura has friends in our ranks but until he is fully recovered and debriefed, I am putting all security measures in play.

Do not test them. That will be the only warning shot you receive.

May 24 - Kamakura[]

It appears that an MP went missing for punching out after guard-duty. We assumed that the MP must have missed his sign out but after a check-in, Kamakura broke out of the brig and shoved an MP into his former cell. MP Officer Collins was found knocked-out and in the restraints put on to Kamakura. Collins' unform and other articles of clothing were missing. Kamakura swapped places with his victim and left.

The security issue is due to a strain on our grid. We have recently added in some new contractors who have additional requirements for their assets to work and charge. Also, the Teslas in the Motorpool are causing brownouts. Please note that we will be updating our grid again.

  • December 22 - "Secrets And A Side of Sinister" - Conrad and Tomas finally meet up for wings and beer and to catch up on one anothers lives. An unknown gentleman starts up a conversation with Tomas after Conrad leaves, leading to a layered verbal jousting but no clear winner.
  • August 11 - "Even The Arrogant Have Hope" - Tomas reaches out to Conrad to say.. many things. Like very estranged friends tip-toeing around topics but settling back into an easy back and forth. He takes the time to reach out to Sean passing on information from his Aunt concerning Sean's engagement as well.

I want to begin this message by addressing the situation we find ourselves in. It is with heavy heart that I must inform you that the Dire-Wraith threat has reached our very doorstep; they are still here, on Earth. This is not a drill, and we cannot underestimate the gravity of this situation. I have witnessed them firsthand in Russia.

To ensure the safety and integrity of our team, Dr. David 'Ozone' Kunitz will be working alongside Steel Brigade Troopers to conduct health screenings and verify the identity of all personnel. Genetic testing will be mandatory, and any objections will result in immediate quarantine. We cannot afford to take any risks with infiltrators in our ranks.

While the Private Military Company issue is significant, it must take a backseat to the Dire-Wraith scenario. The safety of our world depends on our unity in the face of this extraterrestrial menace. Scarlett will continue to lead our efforts against them, with Limelight and Concealer assigned to support her.

Cobra remains a persistent threat that we cannot ignore. Be aware that we have concerns some of our own have grown complacent in dealing with Cobra. Interrogator is NOT an ally; he remains on a watchlist due to his Cobra ties. Major Bludd, however, has retired from Cobra and earned a measure of trust, though we will remain vigilant.

Prototype and Greathawk of the Earth Defense Command (EDC) are our primary assets against Decepticon threats. They can be deployed against Cobra, but only as a last resort. Nebulos remains an active concern, with Red Spot and others maintaining operations. Sci-Fi, in our R&D division, will lead efforts to enhance the security of the Pit and our Nebulos stronghold.

Wraith and Wisp should focus on air surveillance, with Prototype potentially assigned for a third shift. 'Phoenix' will join the Ninja Force to assist with training; his extensive experience will be invaluable. Lifeline will temporarily step down as he recovers, with Doc taking his place and Andrew Frankel as her second, closely monitored regarding internet use. Hacker and Jill S. Morelli will lead a team to monitor all communications to maintain our security. Steel Brigade will increase security patrols on the base. Flint remains on leave, and Hawk is tied up with official matters. Beachhead, myself, and Low-Light will rotate to lead Night Force missions on different nights.

This is a critical juncture, and our diligence will determine our survival. Stay vigilant, stay prepared, and stay true to the mission. Failure is not an option.
