WORMS (Weapons Ordnance Rugged Machine Specialists) are the self-propelled artillery specialists of the Cobra ground forces, and are cross-trained within their blanket specialty. Any single WORMS can man any position on a Maggot, be in driver, gunner, loader, or diesel mechanic. Under optimum conditions, a Maggot is manned by a crew of four: commander, driver, gunner, and loader. Under battle conditions, it is possible for a Maggot to stay in action, maintaining fire-capability with its crew reduced to two. A battery of Maggots can receive target information from a central fire control vehicle and is capable of firing guided and brilliant munitions, some of which as ECM1 resistant, fire-and-forget, self-targeting and proximity-fused HEAT2 rounds. A Maggot’s crew doesn’t have to think too hard, which is why the only requirement for being a WORMS is the ability to walk while holding a bogie wheel under one arm and a 155mm shell under the other. Intensive training takes care of the rest.

Description[]
Cori Stinson is a rough-and-tumble looking woman, with a tanned, grease-stained face and medium-length brown hair pulled back into a ponytail. Right now she's wearing a pair of dirty brown coveralls with thick tan work gloves. Her black tool belt is held closed with a silver-skull buckle. Her tan kneepads are scratched and oil-soaked, silently testifying to the hours she spends crawling around and under self-propelled artillery vehicles. Her black boots look like they haven't been shined since the Reagan administration and overall Cori doesn't look like she very much cares.
History[]
Canonical/Pre-MUX/Theme History:[]
Drivers of the Maggot self-propelled artillery tank, W.O.R.M.S. stands for Weapons Ordinance Rugged Machine Specialist, referring to the their ability to repair their vehicle as battlefield mechanics and to change wheels and artillery shells single-handedly.
